I assume this image was taken while the Beatles were studying Transcendental Meditation. It's very hard to read his expression. Each time I look at it I seem to see something different. If you're a fan of John Lennon as a person and not just a musician then you might want this. My only complaint is that the glare from his glasses can make his right eye look crossed. I only notice it when viewing it up close and no one else has noticed it but me. I've considered darkening the spot with a pencil but it's really not that noticable

her voice and her songs are truly amazing, they are so warm, soothing, comforting; it a perfect collection of songs, the whole album is perfect, every song is magical, I was thinking about sending Norah a Valentine card, I just adore her!

I am a late adopter for sure. This is my first Nora Jones CD. I had not really heard her much before but read a review of her latest (4th?) CD. That review got me to try earliest CD. It is quite good, especially as daily listening/background music. I will probably get a couple more of her CDs. It would be nice to hear her do some of Frank Sinatra's saloon songs or Ray Charles' "Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music" collection.

norah's best CD, she'll never out do this one. a perfect blend of pop and Jazz.

Norah's voice and musical abilities are just outstanding! Beautiful composition / production on this album. Recommended!

My mother Loves her voice no matter where we are, shopping, in the car, at a resturant if she hears her singing she will stop and ask me who it is that is singing. So Merry Christmas Mom! And she loved it, great smooth silky voice with bluesy bass line. Norah's great!

Fender Presents: Getting Started on Acoustic Guitar -- A Guide for Beginners Fender Presents: Getting Started on Acoustic Guitar -- A Guide for Beginners

The dvd navigation was not consistent with the written materials and did not present a complete menu. Items were referenced that could not be found on the menu. Perhaps an Amazon issue in handling my return as my request for a replacement was not fulfilled.

This DVD is okay, you see and hear different chords being used to learn in the lessons. It was not what I expected though.

If you're just getting started with guitar, this will be a big help. It's well organized, easy to follow and gives very clear instructions. If you've already got some chords down and can keep a rhythm with the right hand, you probably won't get much from this DVD.

I play this DVD with my 61 inch TV so it's as if Mr. Wyatt is sitting right in front of me, except that I get to rewind and pause any part I need. His teaching style is very easy to follow and the instructions are divided in different categories that enables me to go back and review whenever I like. The temp of the instructions are just right and there are also tons of reference materials. I initially thought of taking lessons from a friend of my sisters but was worried that it will cost too much in the long run, so I decided to purchase this DVD. I thought that it may be more benefitial for me to learn the basic skills from Mr. Wyatt's DVD and then take lessons on intermediate and advance skills (unless Mr. Wyatt do online teaching :D). I've gone through the chords and now into the scales, and thought the experience has been really rewarding. The most important aspect of learning guitar Mr. Wyatt said is to keep practicing, so I am trying my best to be a good student.

The product description about the lessons is right on for me. I'm happy with them but one needs to practice. Lessons are just one part of playing a guitar. Keith did a good job in each section.

Déjà Vu Déjà Vu

Reviews

oldies but goodies. had the album when it first came out, love it so much!

Crosby, Stills & Nash released their first album very succesful in 1969, and in 1970 with the addition of Neil Young they were ready to release a second album, "Deja Vu". The three original members were all experienced songwriters and great singers, and with Neil Young on top of the hat, it could hardly go wrong; and It did not. All four members contribute two songs each. Moreover, the two old friends from Buffalo Springfield, Stills and Young together wrote the finale number, "Everybody I Love You". Finall they recorded a cover-version of Joni Mitchell's "Woodstock" . The Woodstock Festival was an event the four members took an active part in. There is a lot to go for on this album, not least the beautiful harmony vocal arrangements. The songwriting is also of very high class. Both Nash's contributions are among the best he has written, "Our House" is great and "Teach Your Children" has probably already become a classic, covered by several other artists Both Neil Young's songs are also very fine - in particular the very moving to "Helpless". Still's upbeat "Carry On" is a perfect opening number. A complex composition that shows many different facets of the group. His quiet acoustic "4 and 20" is a sweet little song and one of the simplest on the album. I've always had it a bit difficult with David Crosby's songs. They often seem somewhat convoluted. "Almost Cut My Hair" is a blues-like number, very well arranged, but with corny hippie-like lyrics. The titletrack is more unconventional - again with a somewhat pretentious lyrics. The closing-track "Everybody I Love You" - sounds much like a Steve Stills number, almost as good as the opening-track. "Woodstock" is probably the most rocking song on the album - strong but perhaps not as interesting as the group's own original songs.

How this band got any acclaim is beyond me, maybe it was all the drugs where people like today were to stupid/stoned to actually hear the garbage being played to them. This is terrible.

Bought it on vinyl when it came out way back when. It too is a classic. Wanted it on CD too. I'm happy.

There are sequals to seemingly everything yet nothing will ever come close to what was shared by the Woodstock Generation. I did attend the Montery Pop Festival in 1967. The music stays with me and I like that. Thanks for offering a space where "when" the need for aversion therapy is needed, a trip back in time works wonders. Dr. R. H. Short Ph.D.

Less than a year after the release of CSN's groundbreaking debut, the group returned with Stephen Stills's former Buffalo Springfield cohort/rival Neil Young augmenting the threesome. The result is a less concentrated but more kinetic creation; Young swims through the celestial harmonies of rock's best barbershop trio like a fly in consommé...

As per the rear leaf: '...adavanced single, double and even triple-note country stringbending, fingerpicking, open tunings, banjo-peg tricks (very unique), special effects box applications and so much more...' 'You'll never miss a note...music and tablature on screen, as it's being played...eliminates the need to stop the tape to look at a book.' Adrian is not only a world class Guitar Player, he is an equally engaging teacher and an entertaining one to boot. I was so very fortunate to find this tape. They are extremely rare. He is a one of a kind player. This is a one of a kind tape. I've benefited enormously from it. Now it's your turn.
