The Abbey Road version was a big hit for my boyfriend's un-birthday. It will be decorative only. He's going to hang it in his "studio". The strap itself seems sturdy I think it would be fine if you actually wanted to use it as a guitar strap. Imagine that! I wish they weren't so expensive; I'd get them all.

These straps look awesome! I would buy one if I could actually figure out which one is which???? I see numbers on the pictures, and then they give you names to choose.... it's not like the names are obvious.... Can someone make it more clear???? :-)

This is an excellent strap for a couple of reasons. It's put together well, and the finished leather on both sides won't bleed color into your clothes, even when you get sweaty. The wide strap is comfortable (I use mine with an autoharp that's fairly heavy, and the weight is distributed nicely). The nicest feature is the ends, which are small enough to not get in the way of anything, and have clips so that you can just leave them on the instrument when removing the strap to toss in the case. The only downside is that Grizzly doesn't sell the strap ends separately (I've asked), so if you want to use the strap for more than one instrument like I do in a single concert, you have to go through the hassle of moving the strap ends off the buttons, which is slow. (Or, buy more straps.) Otherwise, no complaints.

What can I say, the workmanship is excellent and it looks good on my guitar.

I bought this to replace the pitiful camera strap that came with my Canon EOS Rebel T1i. First, let me say the design on this new strap is gorgeous, a definite improvement over the black strap with CANON written across it in a blatant attempt to advertise the product. I love the colours and the pattern in this new one, but I expected the inside to be completely lined in velvet. It was only done just right around the neck. I'm also not pleased that the strap attaches to the camera with what reminds me of a bra strap. As a woman, I am completely suspicious of anything bra-like, as the straps tend to fall down and run amuck. The fasteners on the new strap are not as wide, nor are they as "grippy" as the Canon strap, which makes me think I need to reinforce it with staples or old Adam and the Ants pins. Don't mistake me, I'm actually quite pleased with it. I suppose I'm just longing for the old days when my Minolta XG-7 SLR was completely secured with a hippy rainbow strap, lined completely in brown velvet with sturdy lanyard snap hooks. One of the sacrifices one must make for the improvements of the digital age.

The guitar is appropiate for children who are beggining to play because of the size and price

This is a nifty little guitar. Perfect price if you are not sure if your child is going to stick around with it, yet a good, quality instrument so they can learn properly. I love that it came with a strap and a bag. The bag doesn't have any padding, but is still a better alternative than leaving it out or trying to carry it at the neck. My 6-year-old niece is just having a blast with this guy!

I bought this guitar to teach my grandson guitar. I wanted nylon strings and a smaller neck so he could learn without the pain of steel strings and could reach the chords easily. For that purpose this guitar works great. As far as the sound - not so great - but I expected that considering the low price. My grandson loves playing it and so far doesn't know what great guitar sound can be so it is working well. Plus I didn't want to invest a lot of money until I knew he would really stick with the guitar.

I ordered this guitar for my daughter for Christmas using expedited shipping. I ordered on Friday night and it arrived on Monday afternoon, and this was the week before Christmas! Great service, Amazon. My 12 year old daughter never played guitar, so I didn't want to spend too much trying out an instrument. I read about the Dean guitars, which all seem to have gotten poor reviews. I chose the Westwood because it seemed to balance between value and performance. Also, it is labeled a "student" guitar, for whatever that is worth, but to me it sounded suited for a young person getting started. Also, I like that it came with a bag to protect it getting knocked about. My guitar enthusiast musician friend inspected the new guitar and tuned it up before it was wrapped and put under the tree. He commented on how well it looked for the price. He was generally impressed with the quality, size and playability for a budget guitar. From a non-musician's perspective (me), this looks like a nice instrument. I would be more impressed if it would stay in tune better. After Christmas, we re-tuned the guitar and took it to a guitar playing relative's house for some primers. The guitar would get out of tune after playing. The relative said that perhaps the pegs were slipping. For the money, this can't be beat. I'm giving this 3-stars because I wish it would stay in tune better. However, I"m perfectly happy with the quality of the guitar given the price, and hope that after it breaks in, it will better stay in tune. My daughter is very happy with her guitar.

I bought this for my 10 year old son for his birthday and I was kind of expecting a toy guitar. This is the real deal! My brother (who plays guitar) picked it up and just fell in love with it. He suggested to have new strings placed on it since the strings are usually not the best quality and that can make a huge difference. The bag and the strap is a nice touch. I looked at some cheaper guitars and none of them included a bag and a strap. Now my son can rock on something real!
